Samoa is a diversity of beauty.  The lush greens against the clear blue skies and big beautiful white clouds make it unmistakingly like a 64 crayola box of crayons of colour.

This is the ocean view from the resort we visited and stayed on.

Just taking in the hot sun.  It truly is humid and hot, that even going in the water does not cool you off because it is shallow and as such absorbs the heat.  However, the heat of the sun requires a light protective shirt so as to not burn! eek.  Sunblock sunblock sunblock if you come for a visit.

Here the locals are preparing a traditional performance for us.  Yes, there is a lot of similarity to what you may have seen in Hawaii but they are two separate cultures.

It is hard to see in this photo but in the shallow water as the tide goes out there is a man fishing with a large spear like tool.

Although so much beauty exists, this is not a first world country.  The way of life here by N.American standards is very hard.  However, you still see the joy of the people in this land.
